Business phone service / Singapore

Business phone service for Singapore regional headquarters.

Singapore is the regional base for many companies covering Southeast Asia, with staff who travel, teams in several time zones and customers who call in English, Mandarin, Malay and more. Texwan sets up phone systems remotely, programs phones before they ship and makes sure everyone knows what their number type can and cannot do.

Singapore numbers come from IMDA-licensed providers, where available. We work remotely and do not claim a Singapore office or licence.

Threat Briefing

IMDA’s IP telephony framework uses Level 6 numbers, which must provide free access to 999 and 995 and number portability, and Level 3 numbers, which do not have to offer emergency access but whose users must be told. (IMDA)

The number type affects where it can be used and what it can dial, so it should be chosen per user, not per company. (IMDA)

Legacy and odd setups

Old phone systems in Singapore? We can work with them.

Singapore offices often have older Panasonic, NEC or Avaya systems. We can keep them working while users move, or replace them with pre-configured hardware in one step.

How it works

Remote setup, phones shipped ready to use

  1. Review. Send us your current bill or a list of numbers, users and sites. We map extensions, call flows and anything unusual.
  2. Build. We build the system for your country’s dial plan and emergency numbers and program each phone (Yealink, Yeastar, Grandstream or Sangoma), choosing models that suit local power, plugs and radio rules.
  3. Ship. Phones ship from the US pre-configured and labeled. Import duties, taxes and customs clearance depend on the destination and the shipping terms, which we agree in the quote.
  4. Port and support. Existing numbers are ported only where the country’s rules and the carriers allow, on a date you approve. Support is remote, with every request answered within one business day.
