Phones and connectivity for job sites and field offices
A job trailer is a temporary office that has to work from day one and disappear when the project closes. We set up phones and connectivity that move with the project instead of tying you to a new contract at every site.
Site setup
A field office kit that moves
- Connectivity first. Cellular or fixed wireless with a router built for the conditions, set up where a wired line will not arrive in time.
- Phones that follow people. Site staff use softphone apps on their mobiles, so the project number rings wherever the superintendent is.
- A project number. Each project can have its own number that is retired or forwarded when the job closes.
- Pack down and redeploy. Equipment is reset, checked and shipped to the next project, keeping its configuration standard.
Head office
One system for office and field
Head office, the yard and every active project share one phone system and one network standard, so calls transfer cleanly between the office and the field and the portal shows every active site.
Questions
Construction and field offices questions
How fast can a new site be online?
That depends on cellular coverage and shipping. We tell you in the quote and keep a standard kit ready so the setup itself is quick.
Can site staff use their own phones?
Yes, with the softphone app. Business calls stay on the business number, and the app can be removed when someone leaves.
